Katherine + Mauro – St Mary’s Church / Audubon Tea Room
One of the joys of filming weddings is getting to meet so many amazing people and their families. Katherine and Mauro were no exception. From getting to know their families at the rehearsal dinner, it was obvious that there was a lot of love in the room for the bride and groom.
Watch as the emotions of both Katherine and Mauro are both beautifully on display on their wedding day.
Cooper + Lori – St John Evangelist Church / Nottoway Plantation
For Lori + Cooper’s wedding, we traveled to the town of White Castle, home of Nottoway Plantation.
Lori and Cooper are both opera singers and their first kiss was in the script, literally! The couple fell in love while working together.
Plantation weddings are always great opportunities to get great imagery and while the ceremony for this wedding wasn’t at Nottoway Plantation, their preparations, first look, and photo session before the ceremony were on the Nottoway grounds.
Kaleigh + Robby – St Patrick Church / Royal Sonesta Hotel
Kaleigh and Robby were married at St Patrick’s Church and their reception was at The Royal Sonesta Hotel. Kaleigh had her bride prep at the Royal Sonesta. At the reception the Bag of Donuts rocked the night away and then at the end of the night, the couple and the wedding guests had a Second Line that marched through the streets of the French Quarter.
A classic New Orleans wedding.

Jay is a New Orleans tv weatherman.
It was only fitting that on their wedding day the weather would be absolutely perfect!
The couple exchanged vows at Holy Name of Jesus Church on St Charles Avenue and then proceeded to celebrate their love at the Audubon Tea Room.

Jason + Rachel – Sheraton Hotel New Orleans
This wedding brings us downtown to the Sheraton Hotel on Canal St in New Orleans. Rachael had tears of happiness when she discovered what Jason had been preparing for her wedding day gift all along their planning process.
Their wedding was in the jewish tradition including the ketubah, the wedding ceremony under the chuppah, the traditional breaking of the glass and the hora dance at the reception.
At the reception the band ELS entertained the guests and then a dj closed out the party at the end of the night.

Brennan + Nicholas – St Louis Cathedral/Roosevelt Hotel
Brennan & Nicholas chose our Fleur De Lis package which includes coverage of the rehearsal dinner which was held at the Royal Sonesta Hotel. When we film the rehearsal dinner the main point of interest is covering the toasts and speeches that are given from friends and family. This is so important because often people will say things in a toast that they may never say in private or otherwise.
After the dinner there was a second line parade through the french quarter featuring the Mardi Gras Indians. Then it was back to the Sonesta where the dueling piano players entertained the crowd.
The next day for the wedding started at the Roosevelt Hotel where the bride and groom had their preparations. Tailor Rudy Martinez had a beautiful custom made suit for Nicholas, the groom. The couple exchanged gifts separately and then made their way to the St Louis Cathedral, where the ceremony took place. After that the wedding party boarded a trolley bus that transported them to the Roosevelt Hotel where the reception was held in the Waldorf Astoria ballroom.
The band “Downtown Fever” from Dallas, TX rocked the dance floor the entire night as light up party toys were passed around until ultimately the evening ended with a Second Line that brought the couple to their Horse & Carriage waiting outside.

Danielle + George – The Cabildo / Antoine’s Restaurant
Danielle and George’s wedding was about as Real New Orleans as you can get. After they saw each other for the first look we were able to get some great shots in exchange alley and then head on over to the top of the Cabildo (where they had their ceremony) to capture some amazing portraits of the newlyweds with the cityscape behind them.
The second line brought us to Antoine’s restaurant for the reception.

Mary Frances + Francis – Immaculate Conception Church/The Roosevelt Hotel
Mary Frances + Francis chose our Fleur De Lis package which includes coverage of the rehearsal dinner. It’s always nice to be able to hear the story of how a couple met and grew in their relationship from their loved ones, and from each other. After hearing the heartfelt comments from friends and family it was clear that these two individuals were truly made for one another.
One of our favorite lines from the priest at their wedding: “True love is not a feeling. Feelings come and go. Real Love is a Decision.”
