Mallie + Robbie – Destination wedding // Santa Barbara, California
We had the opportunity to film a destination wedding in Santa Barbara, California for Mallie and Robbie’s wedding at the beautiful Bacara Resort.
Allyse & Cullen // Wedding Trailer
A gloriously beautiful December day. Blue skies, cool temps and dancing Santas.
The lovely Omni Royal Orleans Hotel with it’s spectacular balcony overlooking the sights and sounds of world famous Bourbon Street, was the comfortable setting for Allyse’s bridal prep. Surrounded by her bridesmaids, family and friends. Johnny Chauvin was a joy to work with as he photographed the wedding details throughout the day and into the evening.
On hand was Allyse’s grandmother’s lovely vintage handkerchief that her great-great grandmother crocheted. So special to still possess such an important family heirloom.
The dancing Santa’s were a big surprise for everyone. I hope this is a new trend for holiday weddings, everyone was smiling and especially loving when one of the Santa’s pulled Allyse and Cullen to join them on the dance floor.
Elise + Ray // Houma’s House Plantation
Samantha + Andrew // Immaculate Conception – Riverview Room
For Samantha and Andrew’s wedding we started at the Roosevelt Hotel where the wedding party was getting dressed. There ceremony was at Immaculate Conception on Baronne St in downtown New Orleans. Right before the ceremony was to start a tremendous downpour took place. It was only a temporary rain event and Samantha didn’t let it affect her mood as she anticipated seeing Andrew down the aisle for the first time in her wedding dress.
After the ceremony the reception was held at the Riverview Room overlooking the Mississippi River where Louisiana Spice provided the entertainment.

Annie + Brad // Race & Religious
Annie and Brad are the adventurous type. I first met them when they visited our studio downtown and immediately I knew their wedding would be spectacular to film. When two individuals that bring so much energy and charisma come together the result is likely going to be a well thought out experience and their wedding weekend didn’t disappoint.
From the rehearsal dinner toasts at the Palace Cafe complete with a Second Line to close out the night, to the beautiful surroundings of Race & Religious where the couple recited their vows and partied into the late hours, these two lovers had a very meaningful, vibrant celebration.
The cherry on top had to be when Brad surprised Annie with a brand new 4 door jeep wrangler at the conclusion of the festivities. Watch to see her priceless reaction!

The day started at The Omni Royal Orleans Hotel. Ceremony was held at the historic St. Joseph Church on Tulane Avenue and a truly rocking reception was held at the pristine, ultra amazing Southern Oaks Plantation.

Sohan & Rebecca found each other in the Big Apple and decided to get married in the Big Easy. This wedding had so many special touches, one of which was the priest, who happened to be Rebecca’s brother.
The wedding ceremony was at St Mary Church on Chartres St, and the reception was held at the Plimsoll Club.

Katherine + Mauro – St Mary’s Church / Audubon Tea Room
One of the joys of filming weddings is getting to meet so many amazing people and their families. Katherine and Mauro were no exception. From getting to know their families at the rehearsal dinner, it was obvious that there was a lot of love in the room for the bride and groom.
Watch as the emotions of both Katherine and Mauro are both beautifully on display on their wedding day.
